TAMAQUA, PA - The Tamaqua Area School District will have registration for random drug testing, per school district policy on:

Tuesday, June 16 and

Tuesday, June 30

8:00-10:00AM 

Registration will take place in the Athletic Center.  Coaches, Please note - the Athletic Center will be closed during those times.

As per the policy, any student in grades 7-12 who intends to participate in any athletic activity, non-athletic club or organization and any student who applies to park on school property will be subject to an initial random drug test.  Additionally, any non-participant, whose parent requests voluntary testing, will be eligible to participate in the random testing program.

Testing will occur randomly on the testing dates.  Students need to provide a signed parent consent form before participating on one of those dates.  That form will be put on tamaquaraiders.com on Monday or can be picked up at the high school office.

Any student who cannot attend either of the dates provided should contact Hgh school principal, Tom McCabe at tmccabe@tamaquasd.org or asst. principal Jim Hahn,  at jhahn@tamaquasd.org for other arrangements.  Becoming part of the random selection process is necessary before participating in any activities...
